Google Analytics and Cookies
To optimize my web portal and to design it more advantageous for clients, I use the accepted Google Analytics tool. This program helps me to understand how you and other visitors use my website. It utilizes so-called "cookies", i.e. text files which are saved on your computer to anonymously obtain usual log data and information about your surf behavior. The data obtained by the cookie about your use of my website (including your IP-address) are transmitted to a server of Google in the US and saved there. Google needs this information to analyze your use of my website, to send me reports about your web activities and to provide further services connected to your use of the internet. Under the following hyperlink, you can retrieve the Privacy Policy of Google Analytics. Using my website, you consent to the processing of your data by Google in the described manner.
I take your right of privacy seriously and never use Google Analytics to obtain or store any personal data of the visitors of my website; I also don't pass on any data to a third party. I do not connect the collected data with any personal information using this statistical tool of analysis. I will especially never connect your IP-address with your identity as a computer user.

Deactivating and Deleting of Cookies
The settings in your browser will determine if you want to accept cookies or not, resp. if the browser shall automatically delete the cookies after surfing. You can delete cookies without any risk from your computer or use a Internet Privacy Software to do that for you.
Mint
Next to Google Analytics, if regularly check my website with Mint. It is an analysis tool which exclusively runs on the own server. It is thus gives no cause for concern of data protection. No information is given to a third party. I only use this tool to statistically register the visits on my website and thus to better adapt it to your needs. Personal data are not collected or stored.
Piwik
I further use Piwik, an open-source software to statistically analyze web visits. Piwik, as well, uses cookies which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of the website. The information about your use of my website produced by the cookie is stored on a server of the provider in Germany. After being processed, the IP-address is instantly anonymized before being stored. You can prevent the installation of cookies in the settings menu of your browser, or - as described above - you can delete the cookies from your computer without any risk.
